Monday, August 6, 2012 - Champagne of Champions event at home. A blend of unknown percentages of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, albeit I suspect the Pinot Noir has the largest representation given the almost tannic feel on the palate. Yellowish straw to the eye with a pleasant, not over-bearing nose. I "feel" the Pinot Noir far too much for much expectation. Although a very drinkable champagne, it is not a drop I would seek to purchase.
