Wednesday, May 6, 2015 - Well constructed, commercial riesling designed for early drinking. Lowish acid, but still enough to add some definition. Surprisingly advanced colour. Pretty kaffir lime leaves on the nose and a slight hint of melon and green apple on the palate. The finish has a lack of definition with a touch of honey. Slight residual sugar (1.3 g/l) This may well age (under stelvin) but I do not see this improving. Easy to drink now with good varietal character, if not the true character of terroir that the great Clare rieslings possess.
