Friday, February 5, 2016 - Did not realize as I was tasting this wine it sells for under $10. This is not an incredible wine, but it is pretty complete for the price. The nose shows medium heavy toast oak, probably not from barrells, ripe red raspberry, cherry and blackberry. Super dark purple color. Typical northern exposure, expressive, ripe, deep red and dark fruit. Not exactly layered and structured, but still some interesting hints of menthol, graphite, vanilla and minerals for a wine this inexpensive.
