Sunday, January 22, 2017 - Bright and pure red cherry fruit laced with a great minerality. The leanness on the finish and taught tannin suggests this needs at least 5 more years in bottle to put on more weight and soften. At first, the pepper on the finish was off putting, until it blew off with time in the glass. If drinking now, I would decant for 30 minutes to let it shed some of the baby fat. However, if you can be patient, I would wait on it to evolve.
