Wednesday, July 1, 2015 - Poured through Vinturi before 30 min. decant ... This is rich, and lush, with blackberry fruit to open, and some mocha notes on the mid. There is some spice, and a very present tannic backbone to give this big wine some balance. Not at all hot after the decant. Above average QPR and usually a crowd pleaser, this is actually showing better than the 2011.
