Sunday, February 5, 2023 - Medium dark red. All cranberry and fresh cherry on the nose, lingering earthy tones. Quite light on the palate, supple, tannin nicely integrated and overall all is in balance here. It isn't too fruity, neither is it too tightly wound, it is all about simple pleasures. A decade in this is in a good place and I am sad that this was a single bottle purchase. That said, I can buy more at £44 in bond right now. The question is whether that is particularly good value? It is nice, but £44 goes a fair way in other parts of the world. Onwards to the 2015 I guess, which I expect to have more pizazz.
