Thursday, April 30, 2015 - Like HAWK30, I found this to be too oak-heavy on the pop 'n pour. However, I still found the oak influence too heavy after leaving overnight, though there is a good core of fruit as well. I actually kept this for several days and the oak integrated a bit more each day, but, as another note described, the fruit fades. Many others seem to love this at this stage, but I think it needs a few years to shed some of the oak and flesh out a bit. I think it has the goods to be a great wine, but it's not there yet.
