Sunday, December 18, 2016 - Violet color with black and red fruit, smoke, leather, spice and a bit of violet aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied and fruit forward with a lush texture but its acidity and dusty tannins keep it on the rails. It shows black raspberry, black cherry, baking spice with hints of peppery spice with a long sweet finish. Blend of fruit from throughout Sonoma sourced form vineyards planted between 1895 and 1934 (except for the 2% Petite Sirah) 15% abv 672 cases. $25 SRP. Great QPR
