Saturday, October 14, 2017 - Old Vine Zinfandel with a clean and rather stylish first impression this effort is actually a very nice example of this varietal. The nose offers up the classical Zinfandel fruit, but there is also a lot of red fruit like red currant and barely ripe strawberry. The palate is nicely integrated with no hard edges and very very subtle tannins. A lovely example of a Zinfandel - and certainly worth some merit.
