Monday, November 23, 2009 - When I opened it, I thought it would be over the hill. I was wrong. It's certainly mature and if you have any, you should drink it. It took a half hour to open but when it did, it showed copious amounts of dried, sweet cherries and raspberries, forest floor and roses. The style was conservative with good intensity across the palate. There is still enough fruit, minerals and acidity to make it a delicious dinner wine.
