Saturday, August 23, 2008 - Cali Winemakers Offline - Barrett, Browne, Kurtzman, Melka and Masyczek (Brentwood, CA): Ripe yet elegant, this is a Cabernet that is more on the red fruit side of the spectrum. Notes of red currants, cherries, Red Vines, crushed minerals, and brown spices. The acidity seems a bit strong, but this is a very nice wine nonetheless.
