Saturday, January 21, 2017 - To the nose, dark fruit of black raspberry, blackberry, and dark cherry. With spice - cinnamon.
On the palate, fruit continues to be dark with dark cherry, blackberry and boysenberry or plum. Silky threads for tanins give some structure. Spice of cinnamon, pepper, and maybe sage. Very slight leather and cola; no oak or earth. Moderate mouth feel and length.
Great QPR. Will buy again in another vintage - this one is possibly past peak.
