Sunday, January 2, 2011 - Beautiful and very open right out of the bottle! Drinking perfect right now, but has a couple of years still left. Oaky nose, but enough fruit to back up the oak. Definitely spanish, but with some hints of an aged Bordeaux on the nose and the acidity of a great Tuscan red in the mouth. Bouquet: Dark berries, tobacco, licorice and vanilla. Taste of cherries and strawberries.
