90 Points

Thursday, July 8, 2021 - My second to last bottle of this. Tasted again after nearly six years and 16 years in bottle. A little ragged when first opened but after 30 minutes of breathing it really opened up.

Color: Beautiful deep ruby/purple center with pink/ruby rim. No browning at all.
]
Nose: Deep, rich nose of meat, stewed dark fruits, violet and vanilla.

Palate: Bright fruit flavors and silky tannins on the palate. Red fruits and good acidity keep everything in balance.

Overall: This keeps getting better with age. I'm going to try to wait another five years before opening my last bottle.
