Monday, March 31, 2014 - Hardly any discolouration, pretty dark still, especially for a wine that is 24 years old. Cedary nose, sweet spices, black pepper as well as tobacco, red and black fruit. Very, very nice. Good depth and complexity with a lovely breadth on the palate, nice acidity and rather big, good fruit and round tannins. Very good balance, impressive length. Excellent, with plenty of life left. 93-94+
