Thursday, January 11, 2007 - The 2004 GD is brighter, more structured than past one's I've had. Fresh crushed red berries, sweet earth tea spices, tart cherry/raspberry acidity, dried herb/tobacco leaves. Nice mineral, a little stemmy in tannin. One thing I really love in the Landmark wines, are the florals! Go there in the Summer, and the smell of florals is abundant...especially wisteria!!! This wine will gain even more...but good now!
