Friday, February 19, 2010 - Well, this has been disappointing syrah week. Great dark purple color in this glass. The nose has nice raspberry, spice, and toast. The palate is a let-down. The fruit recedes, it's very one-dimensional, and there's a bitterness to the finish. I'm hoping this is just a bad bottle.
