Saturday, June 6, 2015 - Nice, savoury expression of Barossa Shiraz. You get some blood plum and raspberry fruit but its tempered by earth and mineral notes. The wine has flesh with plenty of geological matter lurking just below the surface. There are notes of smoked meat and tar and there is a nice crunchy, tart edge to the finish.
