Look: Crimson, dark but no longer opaque, good color to rim, some sediment apparent.
Sniff: nice plum and cherry, a come hither aroma.
Taste: balance, nice balance of fruit, tannin, acid, lovely finish. Mellow but not flabby, with some black pepper in mid- to late finish.
Drinking very nicely right now.
