Slightly lighter-bodied than I expected (which was absolutely fine by me), the vibrant fruit and silky tannins were terrifically integrated. Some folks may like their wines to have a bit more "sense of place", but it takes a real grinch to find any serious fault with the '03 Ornellaia.
