Tuesday, May 19, 2015 - Pours a medium red. Nose of sweet red berries, cranberry, spice, Pinot funk, and forest floor.

Palate shows cranberry, spice, earth and a nice savory element. Acid is high- and keeps everything in check. Should last for several years and would benefit from a 6-24 months of sleep.

Aged in 33% New French oak, 16 months in barrel, 13.6% abv. No heat or oak noticeable on the palate.
