Wednesday, April 20, 2011 - Medium ruby color. "Cool" nose of dark fruit and eucalyptus or bay leaf. More savory than fruity on the palate, with a beef blood quality, some molten chocolate and maybe a little clove on the finish. Revels in its California-ness, but it's probably not a Merlot for everybody...
