Wednesday, July 2, 2014 - Opened last night for dinner with grilled steak. I'm starting to get concerned about Palomas that are this old, and my first impression was not that great. I thought this had passed it's prime. But fortunately I was quite wrong. After about 1 hr in a decanter, it really came to life. Very deep fruit with a great mouthfeel. It turned out to be a crowd-pleaser and upheld my faith in Paloma Merlot!
