Wednesday, March 1, 2017 - First, it appears that at least one (if not more) individual's entries are driving this overly-high score.
Second, I will say we let this breathe, aerate and decant across three different bottles with the same result, disappointing on several levels.
-It was not entirely varietally correct, did not taste entirely like a Tempranillo.
-It did not have a lot of depth or complexity to it, seemed like just a house red wine.
-For almost $20, this was a travesty as well as the wine mags giving this a high rating. This should have been a $8.99 entry level Spanish wine.
-Not only do we NOT recommend, we recommend against purchase.
