Saturday, July 29, 2023 - On the downslope, but still remarkably good. Comes across as a big wine, though by no means flabby or overripe (label states 13.5% abv). Also spikes high on a distinctive spiciness that I found distinctively pleasant on release and still recognize and quite like almost a decade later. Sort of quirky - a Marin County Pinot - and all the better for it!
