Tuesday, February 9, 2016 - Fairly dark crimson but still transparent with long legs that hint at the 14.6% heat. The nose is more subtle with red fruit, rose petals and jammy finish that's a touch earthy. Cranberry spills over onto the palate and finish. Medium mouth feel with tannins that are transitioning from grippy to soft; give it a year. Fair value and paired well with tonight's salmon. 5+13+16+8=92
