Sunday, February 21, 2016 - Important to take a look at the back of the bottle. The one with L1232711012 is really beautifull. The newest L1425610514 needs some time in bottle
9/10/2017 2:27:00 PM - Thanks. I'm a big fan of this house but even with my favourite producers, the disgorgement date/ lot-code can be very important. I've found similar disparities between bottles of Charles Heidsieck NV and I really wish that they'd give the current release a couple of years' cork time. (They've left it on the lees for 6 years, so it seems a shame to not give it that extra 12-24 months that would just round things out.)
If I do order some Henriot NV, I'll be sure to check the lot-code.
