Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Quite lovely nose with notes of red cherries, underwood, red berries, a hint of mushrooms, and orange zest. Good acidity with more red fruit, forest notes, berries, and moss on the palate. Nice finish. Lovely wine that tastes quite a bit younger than 35 years. There’s still quite a bit of fruit and the tertiary flavors are just now starting to emerge.
