Friday, February 22, 2019 - Clearly some bottles show fresher than this one, which started on the nose showing age - more than ideal to my taste. The attack shows why this wine is as admired as it is, as it was gorgeous, solid and monumentally gracious, pure and delicious. It is a full wine, loads of dry extract and an amazing combination of gravel and grapefruit. A fresher bottle would have been amazing and earned a higher score.
