Sunday, November 26, 2023 - Decanted for one hour (as I finally remembered to refer to my previous TNs). The color was a deep dense violet. The nose was heavy with dark fruits and some earth. The medium plus bodied palate overflowed with black currant, blackberry, black cherry, raspberry and plum, along with some spice and black tea. The acidity was very crisp and sufficient to balance all of these fruits, while there was just a touch of tannin on the finish.
This is a bruiser of a wine and will continue to hold for years to come. Feel free to enjoy it now, but give it some air!
