Wednesday, April 11, 2012 - Nice, enjoyable Barolo. Full-bodied, tannic with some oak influence still evident. This tasted younger than a lot of the 2000 Baroli that I've had, which seem to be aging quickly. This can be enjoyed now, partly because the oak and tannin are not "tough" but easy to drink, for my pallet anyway; and partly because there is good spicy licorice and black cherry fruit presently evident.
