Saturday, October 17, 2015 - This is a quality CA Chardonnay but proved to be a slight letdown from the Bee Block and Neely Hollys cuvée. Both of those wines exhibited a great balance of ripe orchard fruit, ginger, honeysuckle, and acidity. The Amphitheater just felt a little lacking compared to those wines.
