Friday, November 6, 2015 - Garnet purple and heavy in the glass. Nose of ripe black fruit, toasted oak, saddle hide, raspberry, cherry compote, pepper and reductive strawberry. Full body and deep with chewy black and cherry fruits on the palate. Ripe strawberry, pepper, burnt coffee and dark loam. Oak appears to be integrating nicely. Long finish. Interesting blend.
