NOSE: Day 1: high-toned; a bit sweet; red berries; reminds me of sweet red berry tea. Day 2: still sweet-smelling and also with the red berry aromas; hint of sweet earthiness – maybe yesterday's "tea".

BODY: light to medium-light bodied; dark ruby color of medium-shallow depth; a bit hazy; fake cork.

TASTE: Day 1: French oak; some pleasant stemmy spice; gentle green herbs aspect; medium-fine tannins are lightly to moderately drying; very high acidity; strawberry; light and fruity; very different than what I've come to expect from Mourvedre bottlings; 12.7% alc. not noticeable; if this was served to me blind, I'd probably guess Grenache or Gamay. Day 2: pretty much the same as Day 1, except seemingly less acidic today; medium-light bitter/green/stalky/tannic note on the finish, which is of medium-long length and medium-light intensity. Overall, this is fine – it's good/tasty and food friendly – but I don't think I'm digging the QPR. If this didn't present with its edge of sweetness then I'd probably like it more. Will be interesting to see if one of the bottles that was cooler temp. upon delivery shows differently or the same.
