Tuesday, December 15, 2015 - Dark ruby color with appealing blackberry, red berry, cardamom, and crushed rock aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with ample fruit, lively acidity, and well-integrated dusty tannins, and blackberry, black cherry, and raspberry with a pleasing bit of minerality, and a giving spicy finish. Gulpable, delicious yet showing some complexity. Fruit from Ukiah Cemetery vineyard - a head-trained and dry-farmed vineyard was planted in 1953.
