Saturday, January 1, 2022 - Interesting wine, quite complex and fresher and younger than expected. Red fruits dominate (strawberries, rose hip), some spicy oak, but not in a sweet vanilla style. Slightly tannic, quite restrained, even a hint bitter. Good acidity. Unfortunately, the wine never seemed to fully open up and kept being somewhat closed and muted. - 89 points
