Saturday, August 1, 2015 - As lovely as during previous recent tastings of the 2011 vintage, this effort is a total rock stare which never ceases to amaze me. The nose offers up rich fruit - at first dark fruits like Blueberry and dark sweet strawberry and after a while red currant and a whiff of led pencil. The palate is balanced and tells me integration will come given some rest in the cellar. If I can refrain from emptying my cellar, I am looking forward to see it age. Perhaps not a "wow" experience but definitely one of those fruit forward wines which are still extremely elegant and vibrant!
