Saturday, April 11, 2015 - I read about this winery in Wine Spectator as a new up-and-comer, and decided to take a flyer on this Pinot Gris rose. It is unfiltered and unfined, and I tried to make sure my label picture shows this. Winemaker Jim Fischer says he wants this wine to be appreciated like a red; drunk at cellar temperature with full expression of the grape and vintage. I like OR Pinot Gris, and am curious to see how I like it.
