Monday, August 21, 2017 - This was a nice surprise -- have had some solid Pinots from Marin before, but this is a notch or two above any of them. Incredibly aromatic, with a silky, complex, and pure palate. Layers of baking spices, cranberry, creme anglaise, and loads of light-but-rich black cherry. As with all DG single-vineyards, this is an expensive wine, but in this case worth every penny.
