Probably the malolactic fermentation characteristics or lees stirring that you arent a fan of.

2/22/2016 2:24:00 AM - Thanks for you follow up. I don't believe I ever said "new" when I described the oak as excessive. Perhaps you are so used to oak in the wines you drink that you fail to recognize it as an additive?
