Saturday, April 25, 2015 - A very rich, bright nose of apple, banana and quince along with hints of oak. Surprisingly not over the top in any way. On the palate round and rich, yet still bone dry and flavorwise quite restrained with good overall focus. The entry is very much fruit forward, but the finish is very leesy, minerally and saline with some spicy hints. Yellow fruited, not as tropical as the nose. Most of the time I'm not a big fan of oaked Chardonnay but this is a really nice one and extremely well priced.
