Tuesday, November 14, 2017 - Medium ruby, translucent with narrowly spaced legs @ 14% abv. Medium (-) - rather closed nose of cherry, smoked meat, leaves, leather. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(+) tannin, medium(+) alcohol and medium body. Medium palate of cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate and soem pepper. Elegant, balanced with a glycerinic texture. Good length with fine-grained tannin in a dry finish. A nice dinner wine with enough body and structure for game. Needs decanting.
