Thursday, March 26, 2020 - A very fine vintage of VCC although way too young to drink. After a long decant, the classic flavors of this fabled Pomerol come to the fore with gorgeous dark red and black fruits, fragrant truffles and bitter chocolate. This is choc full of acidity right now with firm, taut tannins but it’s beautifully balanced and quite for for a ‘14. I like the future here very much. 94+
