Saturday, April 15, 2023 - My last of these from this vintage. Like so many Bordeaux from this '14 vintage the wine feels a bit awkward, hard and needing more time, while the '15 vintage is so much more accessible, with more charm. There are a few standouts from this vintage, like Ducru Beaucaillou, but not this.

4/15/2023 6:59:00 PM - Thanks for the tip. I've a '14 Beausejour Duffau on hand and might just pop that one tonight. The alternative could be '14 Troplong Mondot, to compare it to the half bottle of '19 Troplong I still have left from last night. Will see.
