Tuesday, June 9, 2009 - The palate shows lots of current, plum with rhubarb bitterness. Lots of mintyness, tobacco, fall leaves, clove and cinimon. It's actually showing a lot of finesse. Medium tight tannins are balanced by the decent weight of this wine and the moderate acidity. It all plays very well together. The finish is all black tea and current.
Outstanding quality. 91 pts.
Drink now - 2012. I wish i bought more of this.
