Sunday, May 3, 2015 - I think I like this even more than I did the 2013. On the roof of the mouth is a lingering cherry, red raspberry sweet tart flavor that is very appealing. For not very much money we have a totally acceptable, basically regionally typical New Zealand Pinot. It is very young, and the acid influence is considerable from lips to finish, barely letting the fruit emerge and do it's thing. With a little bit of air and time in the glass,b ehind the mid palate and towards the finish, the red raspberry and cherry fruit bring flavor and enjoyment way beyond the modest price point.
