Friday, April 5, 2024 - Cork was excellent. Color showed some bricking. Palate of medium fruit and only mild tannins. It was a great wine to sip alone and with our appetizers. Probably a good place to drink up the last bottle. We followed with another Brunello, also a 2010, Casanova di Nero, that had more intense fruit and more tannic character and it matched well with the heavier main course. Both were excellent I’m glad we drank the Pacenti first.
