Tuesday, May 12, 2015 - I like it cause I like Marlborough, basically. It's good and has the right qualities for the region, just not my favourite example. Pours somewhat dark for style with a greenish tinge. More tropical than I usually want- passionfruit and mango apparent. Nice lemon, grass and decent acidity but not as crisp as I would like. Decent balance. Medium body- somewhat heavy-ish mouthfeel. Good, not great. More like a beginner Marlborough. So, so past that. Good value though at 10$.
