Friday, May 13, 2016 - This is an interesting wine. We poured samples into Riedel burgundy and sauvignon blanc glasses to compare flavor profiles. S.V. flint-y with pleasant tart citrus notes. Completely different animal drunk from burgundy glasses -- much rounder mouthfeel, unctuousness reminiscent a fine barrel-aged chardonnay and more distinguishable melon, lemon, and tropical fruit flavors on the palate. Here's to proper stemware!

It really helps accentuate the nose. Some austere style whites (e.g., chablis) don't fare as well. Salud!
