Sunday, October 2, 2011 - Dark red brown. Spicy, meaty with warm black berry fruits. Full bodied with good balance. Complex, lots of leather and other tertiary flavours, develops beautifully in the glass. Still has tannins and enough fruit and acidity to keep going several more years. Paired with steak , potato & cep gratin and peas and was an excellent match particularly with the earthy potatos. Outstanding for the price 4+/5 (94-98)
